Troy Vaughn is a licensed landscape architect who infuses his love of nature's splendor into all aspects of his life and career. Early childhood experiences in the rolling hills and river bottoms of western Iowa provided the impetus for a career in landscape architecture. A zest of exploration and discovery led him west to Denver and then on to SoCal upon receiving his BLA from Iowa State University in 2003.
After practicing six years in Orange County, he and his wife pulled stakes and ventured to Cambridge, MA where Troy studied at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design, receiving his MLA II degree in 2012. Over the next decade he honed his design skills with senior positions in Hong Kong and Miami before returning to SoCal in 2016. Troy has had the pleasure of learning and practicing alongside giants in his profession including Ken Smith, David Jung, residential landscape design master Raymond Jungles and Jim Burnett.
Studio Re:Form is a culmination of these life and professional experiences with a focus on establishing long-term meaningful partnerships creating inspired landscapes.
